Dr Jones has a broad experience both within the NHS and the private sector which has led her to aim to provide the most comprehensive range of services to patients that we can offer, in a safe, regulated environment. Increasingly patients are making well informed choices about their health and wellbeing and Dr Jones believes doctors are well placed to advise and offer suitable treatments that are not available on the NHS to those who want such treatments.

Dr Jones is pleased to provide aesthetic treatments such as such as Botox® and dermal fillers within a medical practice environment by experienced qualified doctors that gives patients more choice about treatments that are increasingly available and popular.

Rebecca Rowlands

Dr Rebecca Rowlands graduated in 2002 from University of Wales College of Medicine with an MB BCh degree. She gained her MRCGP qualification with Merit and also holds the DRCOG (Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology) qualification. Dr Rowlands joined Ashgrove Surgery in 2006 and became a partner in 2010.

As well as carrying out general NHS services she also provides minor surgery and joint injections.  Dr Rowlands has been part of the aesthetics team since the surgery started providing this private service.

Medical aesthetics is an enjoyable part of my working week.  It gives me an opportunity to help enhance and improve patient’s confidence and wellbeing through safe and effective treatments offered in a safe and trusted environment.

Dr Rowlands is particularly interested in using Botox® for medical problems such as under arm sweating (hyperhidrosis). Many patients come in complaining of excess sweating having to frequently change clothing because of this. Often patients are embarrassed about this problem and underarm Botox® is a safe effective treatment for women and men which typically lasts up to 9 months.
